Any MLB fans here???

Refunding fans who purchased season tickets based on a hyped-up signing that didn't actually occur* and spending money to improve the farm are not mutually exclusive.

* Apparently, they were still sending out marketing with Correa on it as of this morning. Not a good look.

 

If you bought season tickets based solely on the Correa signing, that's pretty sad.

 

There's absolutely people who were on the fence about buying or renewing their season tickets who purchased them based on Correa, because adding an exciting, high-profile player to the roster is exactly the kind of signing that one would expect to bring fans to the yard.

One thing is for sure, we're in for a long season.

 

We’re only going to hear one side of the story and Boras is not obligated to tell the truth while the Giants are legally bound to keep Correa’s records secret. It is what it is, deal with it. I thought Chris Bryant was a better fit but they didn’t sign him or he chose not to be here. We need to move on.

Thoughts on Trevor Bauer’s suspension being reduced, and now being immediately reinstated? Dodgers have 14 days to decided whether to keep or cut him. Really interested to see how this goes. Could be a great addition to dodger’s rotation, but I can totally see all the backlash it’ll bring the club.

 

If I publicly stated my opinion on that I’d be banned.

Today's the day! Anyone got any spicy predictions? I think the Angels have a legit chance of upsetting their division this year. They finally have a solid rotation, made some great offseason moves and Rendon is healthy. They're tied with Detroit for the longest postseason drought at 9 years (2014).

 

As a Buccos fan, every year there is that hope for a good year, even if it's not likely.

 

Heading to San Diego Padres Opening Day at Petco Park (Really nice stadium) with 100 of my neighbors (92131) 1/2 of the group+ taking a bus. Originally starting time was at 1:10, but due to the
