    I still haven't gotten a clear answer as to whether this can be used on the M/T. I feel like there was a thread where folks were going back and forth but it wasn't clear why it couldn't work.

    there is a process to install it. went to a shop my work use on a daily and they were honest and had no clue. so i went to HB toyota and they charge me 180 to put it in and it works fine.

    I have the MT and have it install almost a year. Works fine, every so often I test it just to be sure it still works. I plan to tie it into the security system so it blinks with the security light on the dash.
