Once he took the lead I said to myself, don’t worry he’ll crash in a couple laps and Tomac will take the lead. :)

At least whoever Photoshopped that, used the best looking Husky gen as their starting point lol.

The races were good. Sexton crashing is comical at this point. Not because I want to see it but just because it's almost so frequent that it doesn't seem like real life. He's in his own head. Whether it's just him getting nervous or him and the bike not meshing. Something is up. I feel bad for him. Eli rode great. I still don't think he looks quite the same but he's getting the job done, so happy to see him rebound. Webb had a good night, even though he looked pretty upset after the race.

250s were pretty good. I expected a much better ride from Kitchen in the main. Not sure what happened there. As much as I'm not a Jett fan, he has been making it look easy, so I can't take any credit away from him. Good ride.

I was pulling for the chef as well. He got a horrendous start in the main. Think he came around lap 1 in like 16th.

Start of the 450 race I thought tomac looked off. Guess he was waiting a few laps until he got used to the dirt. Once he saw Webb from behind. Gone. Poor sexton has growing pains same as when tomac first went to the 450s. That front tire always slides out. Glad he isn't getting hurt at least. Man there are so many good riders in the 450 class. Lots of passing last night.

250s didn't seem too interesting to me. It was nice to see the West Coast again. That 450 ride for rj helped him out. Wild how many of the guys got crap starts.

You had to be a master tactician to pass on that track...unless Sexton was in front of you.

I saw Sexton had about a 3 second gap and thought to myself "he's about to take a header somehow".... I will say that was the strangest front wheel tuck I have seen in quite some time and then the front just locked up and endo'd him right over the bars. Do riders really trail brake that hard on dirt?

In that situation I don't think he would be. In long ruts, it's pretty common to drag the front brake, as it sort of settles the front in a rut. But in that corner, I can't imagine that was what he was doing? He certainly has an issue with the front end giving out on that bike. Like I've been saying, Hondas are very unforgiving in that area. So it has to be a combination of Honda traits, how his settings are and him either being careless or pushing the front more than the bike is willing to hold. It's very odd to see someone do this so often lol.

I think that was one incident Ricky was actually able to explain well in a race. Looked like Chase missed the main line/rut altogether, overcorrected to try and get back in it and lost the front end. Then his front tire grabbed dirt when it should have been a simple low side crash.

He should have just kept to the outside line/wall instead of cutting back in.

Ya, I looked again and I can see what you/he is saying. He basically followed the prior 2 ruts that kept him outside and it looks like he wanted to move inside a bit to bounce off that other small rut and just twisted the front. That being said, I still stand by what I said in my prior post. The combo of Honda being a very fine line, combined with his set-up and decision-making is making for a repeat result over and over.

Oh I agree with ya on the Honda characteristics for sure! I just had to chime in because I vividly recall hearing blabbermouth Carmichael actually say something applicable during a race for once haha.

Lol ya for sure a good observation. I was just going off of memory. I just remembered him trying to pop off of a small rut and losing the front but after you said that, going back and watching, that seems like that was his thought process, for sure.

I high sided one time WOT going into a turn before I could touch the brakes. I was like WTF.
Watched the Go Pro footage and realized my back tire missed the rut I was trying to rail. Caused
me to tuck the front. MX crashed are hard to figure out sometimes. :bikewhoops:

Curious to see how the agro bros battle in the E/W showdown at MetLife. Otherwise the 250s have been a snooze fest this year.

Agreed. I like to see the top 4 or 5 guys being closer with more passes. Nowadays it's like
one or two passes a race. It should be 4 or 5 guys passing each other each lap.

250’s are extremely boring. The Lawrence brothers should have been forced up to 450’s this year.

Plessinger and Craig were my picks this week. They lapped up to Craig in 7th?
