Just ordered a 2023 TRD OR AC MT6 a few hours ago... once I saw what the 2024 lineup was looking like, with no manual transmission, and a turbo.... I decided to replace the '17 with the same thing. I'm screwed in about 10 years when I can't get a manual ICE anymore... sigh

I'm with you, ordered mine at the end of December. My 2017 has given me no issues, and I'm not ready to be the beta tester for a new Gen.

Since I have a couple months to wait for my new Blue Crush, I have time to consider options. I'm wondering about the ceramic coat for the paint. Anyone have an opinion on that? It sounds like it might be a good investment. I don't drive where there's a lot of rocks, so the 3M film isn't as much a priority. Got to protect that beautiful blue :)

I need to get some mud flaps for mine, I don't know why they don't come with them from the factory.

Anyone ever see this color wheel on our Blue babies? I saw the rims that were color matched in the middle of this thread and they look good. I am just curious what these would look like.

I’m thinking the same… I’ve wanted the 701s in blue since my BBP. I bet they would looks pretty slick on the Blue crush.

    None yet. Many planned.
Dark blue metallic is my color on vehicles. A few days ago I just found a blue crush metallic, trd sport, 6' bed, double cab, premium with advanced tech package in another region. Deposit is in, truck will be mine. I'd been waiting (~16 months) for a limited or trd sport to come into the mountain region with those specs. My truck will be built between 2/20/23 and 2/24/23. It will be trucked to my house in late March. I could have flown there and driven it back but that would destroy my plan to do the 620 mile break-in on the engine, trans, and breaks. I do that will all my Toyota products. I don't know if anyone else does.

My 2008 Sequoia (275k miles), in Dark Nautical Blue will go to my soon to be 17 year old son.

Below is a picture of my first Toyota pickup. A 1992, extended cab 4x4 (pre-Tacoma). I purchased it new and drove it for 7 years and put 272k miles on it. I miss that truck.

    1992 Toyota Pickup.jpg

So a forum question. Do I get legacy or pre Tacoma points for that truck?

Yes, dark metallic blue is my color on my vehicles. I'm looking forward to the blue crush metallic.

Nice. I'm getting a long bed sport by the end of March. Putting an extang xceed bed cover on and armordillo fx running boards with the led lights on. Look into the chemical guys brand of products. Their hydro slick ceramic coating is very nice. I use that then 24 hours later put their jet seal on over the top of that on my dark blue metallic sequoia. Really makes the color pop. I can't wait to see it on my blue crush metallic.

That’s a hell of a gift. Good for him. He won’t need another vehicle until his 30s.

Hello all Blue Crush owners! Looking to replace my 22 Barcelona Red that was totaled 2 weeks ago. I am looking at another BR but I am really falling for the Blue Crush. I even put down a small deposit for a blue crush that's being built today and delivered to the dealer within two weeks. Hard call, I love the Barcelona Red but at the same time I feel it may be a little outdated like the MGM. Blue crush looks awesome! Any complaints from current owners?

Good choice! Love my BCM and don’t see many around, at least in my area I don’t. Just be prepared for the “is your truck blue or purple?” haha
