You should take a few wrenches and just drop them outside from time to time. Don't do any work, just make noise :D :D :D

I used to live in a condo complex with the similar rules. My bike developed an oil leak so I put a bag of cat litter underneath the leak and cover the bike. The next morning, I find a note that says "you cannot work on vehicles". I bought a new pan and gasket at lunch and the next Sunday, replaced the pan, tossed the bag of litter and went on with my day. Got another note "Thank you for obeying our rules"...

News said the rain was keeping it unstable but the gas lines were out of danger. From what I saw going by it won’t really be fixed until things dry out and heavy equipment can be brought in to rebuild the toe of the hill. Right now it’s a sloppy mess. Compared to other slides it’s not small but hardly huge. I’d rate it lower middling. The problem is the location wrecked the frontage rd, threatens the freeway, an underground water pipeline, and 2 gas mains (maybe the only two) serving the county so it’s potential impact outweighs its actual size.

There's a lot of moving pieces, both literally and figuratively, so I wouldn't expect that road to be opened in the very near future. Can't go into any details for the obvious reasons.

If you ride a motorcycle, this is one of those things you fear. Usually, it's a blowout on a semi but it's also a very good reason why you should maintain situational awareness and constantly be looking.

Passing a semi on a 2-lane freeway it threw a chunk from a retread that made my truck jump when it caromed off the corner of my rear bumper. While I prefer to give an entire lane of leeway to trucks for just this reason it’s not always available.
