    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
Yeah I agree they are capable cars and I would 100% buy one for MSRP over a 3-series and even over an M340i (not talking about the G80 M3 as it is way out of that price range and buttfuck ugly).

But the markups on the FL5 CTRs are ridiculous and the used FK8 CTR prices are also ridiculous.

Prolly resell it for the same price, the demand is there, and if they just keep throttling production, its never gonna change

I’d say if a 3rd party is able to flip a used car above msrp the demand is certainly there

I paid 2k over in 2018 for an FK8 which was huge markup I thought at the time.
Sold it in 2022 for more than I paid for it.

Cue the repossessions...when we bought my wife's new RX hybrid last month, the tool finance guy kept mentioning how low our payment was (we put $13k down on $55k) and that we can afford his stupid add on's (tire protection and all that junk) as most people have about a $1000 a month car payment. I said, and had to bite my tongue later, people driving around on mortgages with more money than sense on a depreciating asset, he said well mines $1100 a month, I said what do you drive and he said TRX. People's priorities are backwards these days and gonna be a world in hurt after they realize they stretched themselves too thin. After seeing the QC issues with the new Tundra I wont be jumping in a sweet 4th gen and will definitely not or ever will pay ADM to just have one.

when you figure in tax and fees and the markup they paid ie my example they lost about 20k.

There have been three gr corollas all the msrp same prices went 48,500, 45k, 43k in the last month or so trending wrong direction.

I wasn’t really referring to the loser flip attempts but more on manufacturer demand expectation pricing etc.

When they trend at $29k on bring a fortune then we can say they underestimated demand. 35.9k msrp is the number and those sites charge 5% on top of the fact that it’s a used car. Yet people are still paying 43k~45.5 with that 5% fee for a 35.9k msrp car … if I was a dealer it’s clear to me that a 10k markup is a minimum starting point

msrp on GR's is usually 40 plus on those about 41k actually they almost all come with every option the PP, tech package, etc. You wouldn't want one without the performance pack. Type R has no options except paint charge. So if you end up with 43 not good :). Maybe this will stop some folks from buying 2 at a time lol.

Makes sense. Either way a used car on bring a trailer should be well under msrp + 5% discount on their fee. For a modern car currently available for sale that is

If you thought this picture was taken in Brazil just for publicity you need to get real. It’s like thinking the avenger movies are documentaries. Toyota knows how to have fun and tease the audience. Cheers!

Beats the 3rd gen teasers, they dropped a small piece of the bigger picture a day at a a time ahead of the Chicago auto show. Man this place wassss way more animated for that gen.
