I got the auto :| hope I’m not making a massive mistake lol. Had a s2000 back in the day. Fun as heck during getaways in windy roads, but very annoying to drive with all the traffic where we actually live. Haven’t considered getting a MT ever since.

I wouldn’t say making a mistake I have an auto coming as well. I love stick shift cars and the sportiness of them I’ve also owned several stick trucks. Besides as you mentioned with traffic it sucks I also don’t like it when I’m constantly having to back up trailers especially on sketchy inclines and stuff it’s just not as practical then to me.

Yeah driving stick in traffic sucks, especially with a heavy clutch. Thankfully don't deal with it much up where I am. I went from getting a GR Corolla to a Tacoma and wanted to keep the manual transmission to keep my commute from getting too boring! Keeping my wrx hatch in my profile picture for when I actually want to have fun

I feel like the taco clutch is super easy, i drove stick for 15 yrs, and then had a 5 yr break, its been like i never left. Also it seems they added in some sort of hill assist, cause while I never felt like i had trouble on hills, the truck doesnt seem to move at all.

@DragonPro23 any way I can get an update on 3TYCZ5AN4PT130773. I am starting to loose hope seeing all of these wonderful Taco's being delivered to dealerships that were built and put on hold after mine, LOL.

CONGRATS to all who have had their Taco's come off hold.

For those of you waiting on a QC hold. Did your trucks make it to the US ports? It sounds like some of your trucks are in the US but waiting to be released, or are they still in Mexico?

My Taco is in Houston, TX at the distribution center for Gulf States Toyota region. That is the only info about the location of my Taco that I know for sure.

I appreciate you @DragonPro23. I just cannot imagine what critters the Mexicans left in my new Taco that causes a 70 day long fumigation, but I guess that it is like a watched pot...it will not boil until I look away...so I think I am going to look away & pray that I hear a whistle soon, LOL!!
