I'm not sure they're ready for that. Hunter maybe.

Better than the McGrath era though. Or in RC's prime for Outdoors, in moto 2 he would holeshot and people would start packing up and heading to their cars. They knew the race was over lol. So living through those eras, these last couple years have still been pretty exciting. But I get what you are saying though.

At least McGrath did some tricks while he was in the lead. He was an entertainer. Nobody does any tricks anymore, even when they win. It’s lame.

True. I had no problem with 1 dominant guy, like MC, RC etc. I was just pointing out that we still have a bit of a surprise each week as to who will win. So in that sense, it is kind of nice. But MC was for sure off the charts as far as coolness and entertainment goes. He was the best "face of the sport" that we ever had.

Windham used to do heal clickers. I think Pastrana even did a flip or two in races. Now a fist pump or no footer is the best you see. Maybe Deegan will bring back some style and fun. Will he ghost ride his first win?

I'll take a fat stylish whip over any other trick, any day.
Marvy still throws a heel clicker when given the opportunity. I think race guys are there to race. Freestyle guys put on their own show before the races now. One thing I really miss is KDubs pre race show and the huge transfers he would find on the track.

I'm privy to astars because I've found them the most true to fit and no break-in needed.

T10s will give you the removable insert/bootie. If you go T7s I'd just get the regular version, as there are plenty of write ups on the Enduro model not being as waterproof as it should be. Astars do tend to wear faster than expected, though. The Gaernes are gonna be heavy but have a steel toe and are bombproof. Break-in will suck.

Really depends on what you're riding most frequently. I have T7s for moto and love them. If I were woods bashing more id probably look at Gaerne or Sidi. When I was shopping around last year I think I spent 3hrs in total between a few different shops just walking around in boots lol. Definitely an individual feel / preference piece of gear.

I love my tech 7s. Easy to shift and rear brake. I like a little bit of feel with my foot controls. Can wear them all day. If you are super rough on boots they may not be the best option.

Jett is full-time 450 as soon as the Nationals start, this year. Hunter will likely do 1 more year of 250s next year.

I had Tech 10s. They are a nicer boot as far as features, but when it came time for new boots I wanted to try the Tech 7s (regular version.) I like the fit and feel of the 7s better. I think the bootie-insert on the 10s is a bit overkill for me It just feels weird and bulky. The 7s offer a good compromise of flex and feel. So I will probably stick with 7s for now. But if you don't mind the inner bootie on the 10s (and have the coin) they are a "better" boot as far as protection and features.

Windham had the sickest pre race transfers ever.... If Deegan ghost rides his bike I hope AMA docks him the win....the mechanics work hard on those bikes.

There is a reason Stew Baylor is a fan favorite racing off road. I’m sure the mechanics have plenty of spare parts from the “factory”.
