I have no idea what I just watched but we haven't hit the Dora phase yet lol.

Right now she's obsessed with Imagination Movers...it's a group of grown men and a couple women that act like toddlers for 25 min every episode, it's kind of cringey to view as an adult but kids love it.

I guess there was a bunch of flooding back in the spring of 82-83, we've passed that snow total and with all the new developments, shits gonna get wrecked. My parents got flood insurance and the only way I can see them seeing water is if it seeps out of the ground.

That looks slightly less fear inducing than the Teletubbies or any of the other 90s BBC stuff. British toddler humor tends to veer more toward psychological horror than their adult humor.

yeah I tried putting on an episode of Teletubbies for her when she was about a year old, but I couldn't handle it...it seriously started giving me anxiety that probably related to some bad highs/trips I had in my 20s. I don't need that stress in my life right now lol.

those people were 100% on acid when they came up with that show

There are a lot of those kinds of shows, I realize it is just supposed to barely work in a moral and hold attention in someone with very few cognitive skills... but something just seems off about it. Can't you be engaging without being creepy?

guess I ordered the wrong PCV hose for the 4runner, McGeorge emailed and told me so I found the right one and they corrected the order before shipping it. That was cool of them

Someone put in their VIN number. I just got a new PCV hose as well on RockAuto and it came from a third party as I expected it would but it really looks like the OE part.

Ahh yeah that must be why, last time I ordered from them I put the VIN into my account. Well in any case it saved me $20, I thought it was weird that short little vacuum line cost 40 bucks but then again Toyota is weird about pricing stuff out. I mean a brand new IAC valve costs almost as much as an entire steering rack on some dealer websites.

Life insurance is for everyone else anyway, if you're alone there's pretty much no reason to have it.

This is true but now that he's got a kid it's a good thing to have. Which reminds me I need to update mine

The only reason I had it before wife/kids is that my company offered a small life insurance policy for employees. Think it was only around $15k or something, back then I made my dad the beneficiary because he was the co-signer on my student loans, figured if I kicked the bucket he would at least get a little money back lol.

Trust fund villain origin story? His kid kills him so the trust can start building value in an investment account now that way when they turn 18 they never have to work.

Same reason I have it, company offers it with no pay in, 50k if I kick the bucket. I mean 50k is worth dick nowadays anyway, but still at least someone can enjoy some hookers or a shitty mid tier car or something.

my work offers it so I have it with a close person listed as my beneficiary for that exact reason. Maybe they can get a rental jeep in Moab with it lol
