When I was in the hospital earlier this year with my Dad they kept coming in asking him if he wanted to create a will, even a random church bishop turned up asking about it. Probably should all sit down and talk about that stuff this year. This is the time when it would be good to have a friend who is an estate lawyer, not that anyone wants to befriend a lawyer.

I'm curious to see the outcome lol. I should look into it to make sure my sibling is taken care of in the worst case scenario

Yeah, there are attorneys that specialize in this stuff. My parents set one up back in the 90s and it ended up not being necessary because the estate tax exemption was so high when dad passed away. In the words of the attorney,”you bought an umbrella but it didn’t rain”.

That said, having it all laid out and reviewed and clear makes things really easy for the survivors. Biggest pain in the butt was dealing with passwords.

McFlurry with M&Ms is like eating ice cream with rocks in it, I never got the appeal

Now if they would do like Dairy Queen and offer Reeses chunks blended in, I'd be all over that

You never had the Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Sundae from Baskin Robins?

    You're missing out.

we have 3 ice cream places in town that I go to on weekends with Sofia sometimes, Baskin Robbins, Cold Stones (yuck) and a small franchise one called Moo Moo Mia which is amazing.

If Moo Moo Mia is closed then I much prefer Baskins over Cold Stones, Cold Stones is wayyy too sweet

then we have this uber fancy 1 off place near my work, I forget what it's called. Its really good but a single scoop is like $8

Oreo McFlurry is where it's at or if you're up here where we have Zip's Drive-In then one of their hurricanes is way better

Kansas City is littered with places that sell really good frozen custard. I hardly think about dq anymore.

Whenever we'd visit my grandparents in Warrensburg, MO as kids the place to be was always either the local DQ or Walmart....on my dad's side we were their only grandkids so they spoiled the hell out of us every time, would irritate my mom to no end lol.

I've thought about going to school for environmental law after this instead of grad school, but then I would literally be one of the worst humans in the entire world

Just for the bottom sentence :)

A lawyer? yeah...true. Plus after getting put in the middle of that shitstorm lawsuit at my company for the last few years, the sheer amount of paperwork I saw that lawyers have to deal with would make me never entertain the idea of doing that for a living. Holy shit

Yea, it would basically just be understanding all the new shit the EPA and whoever are putting out, but it sounds miserable

Not that lawyers don't, but paralegals handle a lot of that.

I've not watched it, but I remember people at work talking about "The Wiggles" from Australia.
