    Hello Tacoma guys and gals, I bought my TRD off road new 2 years , didn’t think I have a remote starter but just wondering if I can start it with the app ? Haven’t been able to figure it out , don’t have it on key fob .

    You have to pay for the service to start it in the app. Did you try the key fob sequence

    press Lock button three times and hold on 4th.
    BUT, don't press 1234
    1, 2, 3, 4 (leave a split second pause in between clicky clicky)

    2020 or newer Tacomas has the remote start...not sure about the manual transmission models but Auto has it.

    press the lock button on your key fob three times. Be sure to quickly press the lock button the first two times, while holding the button for about three seconds for the third time.

    Yep, that's the way to do it. But be aware, when you open the door, the engine shuts down. No biggie, just the way it is.

    So far…. Added fog lights swapped halogens to led’s, interior lights to led’s, bed lights added, led/strobe brake lights, trying to figure out the right leds for turn signals.
    Not all of them come with Remote Start from the factory. I am not sure what level does, but mine I had to add on a kit.

    thanks everyone ,this my first tacoma and I love it!! looking to do a couple minor add ons like a 2 or 3 inch lift and a upgraded exhaust .any suggestions on a lift setup i can do without shanging any other suspension parts? thank you in advance

    i went with bilstein 6112/5160 6/5 with headstrong aal and half inch shim with ome uca's
