I towed 100 miles yesterday and am happy with how the truck towed the 4020 lbs travel trailer. Our trailer is relatively aerodynamic so that makes a difference.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
It definitely does. A lot of people don't realize how big of a factor it is. With my last truck it worked harder to pull that little snowmobile trailer than to pull the boat that weighs twice as much.

Something else to be concerned with is sway.... which ties into wind resistance. This was our first trip at hwy speeds and dealing with passing 18 wheelers. We had zero issues. The R3 WDH has built in sway control. I guess the R3 combined with trailer aerodynamics is the ticket..... or we just got lucky. o_O

Looks like you have it dialed in, We almost got the 23RSS but went with the Apex in the end due to availability. I come in 40 lb heavier on each truck axle and right at 10,000lb gcwr, the truck does great!

Have you had any issues with the Vista?

I appreciate you saying so. I'm not sure what good numbers look like, LOL.

I'm very happy with the set up and how the truck pulls except for trans temp making a 500' in 1 mile ascend that took my TC to 231 degrees for a few min.

The Vista Cruiser has been good but like all campers... there were some minor things that I resolved. We're happy with it.... and the truck.

Too big imo, probably 8ft wide and likely 4,700lb with batteries and propane, then 5300/5400 loaded.
Need to keep under 5klb loaded to stay within limits.

double are more stable and less prone to sway. But improperly set up you can have the same problems. Plus taking your time is always a winner. like 65 mph max.

Take a look at the NoBo 19.6, a little lighter than the Jayco 264BHW, unless a bunk house is a must
