I dig the Hamilton line up myself. Don't own one, but kick the idea around all the time

After talking myself out of the Tissot PRX because I thought it would wear too big, I went to a local jewelry store to get a bday present for the GF. They had several PRXs so I tried it on. This will now be my next watch.

Yes I believe it is called IFL watches there is an Oris painted the same. Nico Leonard promotes them all the time. Think he said they are all hand painted.

I had a chance to get my hands on a 1911 BTR, but it's a bit too large for me. 42 to 43mm is my golden size

I have gone small in the last 10 years, something rectangular from the 40's and 50's, maybe 24mm x 34mm with a 16mm strap. Been wanting a Gruen Curvex lately but they got more pricey than I care to spend.

Anyone else have this issue? Up to a dozen times a day the strap keeper migrates from it's job.PXL_20230330_013348970.jpg PXL_20230330_013358146.jpg

I would try cleaning the strap with some mild soap and water. Let it dry really good, and see if it still happens.

    Additional info:

This is a silicone, Seiko strap. I rarely remove the watch, only during time changes, usually.

I like the silicone strap much better than the plastic straps I've had on previous watches.

I beat this watch and strap like a rented mule.

It annoys me the strap keeper doesn't do its job.

Maybe I'll try switching the orientation. Stand by for updates...

This happens with my Coros silicone straps and I think its just from wearing it all the time? I use my COROS daily as well as for any physical activity..run swim bike and Im very lazy to be switching the strap out every once in a while. I try to move the part that holds the strap a little higher and I find that this helps...at least at the end of my work shift it's still in place.

This is the Snoopy x Timex Happy Birthday saw a few weeks ago. I love PEANUTS and Snoopy is one of my favorite characters. I've been stalking for their Christmas one for a while but theyre usually out of stock but this one is perfect since my birthday is coming up in April. Has some illumination when you press the dial

Also Thought I'd share my Tissot Visodate. I'm very much a sucker for the leather strap look

I switched to a Richie and a Barton silicone strap with the last keeper snaps in to the tail of the strap. Straps are inexpensive and that last keeper never moves.
