Has anyone tried these? Apparently this adjusts the angle of the lower cushion of the seat.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Can`t say I ever heard of them.

Do they go on the floor under the seat?

It changes the angle of the seat. I ran mine for a week. Then I took them off and threw them to the dark recesses of my parts cupboard. I couldn't stand them.

That said, they're popular for a reason. I guess.

They work amazing for those that need it. I drove cross country 3400 miles a couple times without leg fatigue due to these. Prior, I couldn't do more than 200 miles without some pain.

Installed them on my first gen bench seat. Much more comfortable, but makes getting in and out a bit cramped.

i've got them on my 03, they made a world of difference. they angle the seat slightly up in the front and provide support for my legs on the long hauls. easy to install, cheap enough, and very very glad i did it. 10/10 would recommend, and the makers are here on TW too

I'm really long and these make long road trips way more comfy, more of the length of my legs are supported which reduces back pain. Doesn't seem to impact getting in and out or anything. No idea how they would work for shorter people :notsure: Seems like the 1st gen's seat angle is pretty flat from the factory, while the later models have more bolster or whatever that is called.

speaking as a shorter person (5'7), they're still great and make the seats way more comfy and supportive

I’m 5’9 and had a set on. But, I can say the best course of action is to get rid of the oem seats all together. Of everything I’ve done to my truck, these WRX seats are my fav. Hands down.

They're marginally helpful. I think I would prefer they jack up the front 3/4" more than they do. Installing 2nd gen seats or other good seats is a solution for shorter people only, with the low ceiling clearance in the 1st gen.

Also have an upholstery place redo your seat and backrest padding. The 1st gen stock padding packs badly over the years.

I reupholstered the driver’s seat ages ago and added gel inserts. Made a proper difference.

I'll throw in my vote of appreciation for the product. Same reasons as mentioned in previous replies.

Should I just do the front of the seat or both front and back of the seat?

I just did the front. I felt like doing the rear would just put me back to square one.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I did the fronts and loved the new seating position, couldn't justify the cost of the rear. After a week or so, I decided that the front only might have been a little too much, so I experimented with flat washers under the back of the seats. I wound up using 3 washers, a little under 1/4".

I can see how these may not be a big help for some people, I found the extra leg support a huge benefit. Six hundred mile days aren't a problem today, where the original seating position had me squirming after 3-400 miles.

Yea I was thinking 1 1/4” was a little much so I’ll probably do washers in the back
