Did tech plugged techstream to log the data during the ride or after finishing the ride?

My truck has a very noticeable miss on 87 from any gas station I have ever been to. On 93 it goes away. Been that way for 75k miles, will be that way until my truck goes away. Dealer gave me the "all normal" speech and sent me on my way 60k miles ago or so....

I always recommend trying 93 and see what happens. On my truck if my tank is low enough when I fill up, the difference is noticeable within 10-20 miles.

I will also say that 89 is enough to get my truck to run "normally", but I get gas at Costco and 87 and 93 are my only options, so I usually alternate fill-ups.

Start with a rule of thumb, I am a full time technician on engines and I deal with misfire and fuel issues everyday. Fuel spark power on the mechanical side it can get technical with checking gears and anything else that has continous moving parts. I had a stutter in my truck and it threw a code and happen to be cylinder 6 misfire happened to be a dead short in one of the coil packs so I went ahead and replaced all coil packs fixed the issue, while I was at it I went ahead and did brand new spark plugs as well. How many miles are on the truck?

And yet your problem occurs when you let it lug?

Sorry dude. We're not all kids here. And as my boss used to say, yea, 'Johnny' has been here 20 years. But does he have 20 years experience, or one years experience 20 time?

Tip. Stop letting it lug. You're the one in control.

All I know, if I run any grade higher than 89, my truck feels down on power after a couple tankfuls, plus the transmission will hunt. Running 87, it's like a different truck. All grades here are E10 blended.
