There’s, at least, one of your problems. The weight of your truck will stress that out way more than you can move it. Your sway bar endlinks will not leave you stranded, just annoyed. And if you’re that worried about it, as mentioned there are a lot of useful people on here that can help you if you’re close to them. Just have to ask.

It’s been doing it for almost 2 months & there’s days where it’s absolutely horrible & then days where it’ll only do it about 5 times. The shop said it was “safe” to drive, but they don’t even know the issue so.

Definitely sounds like something you want figured out. I saw my first suggestion was already done.

Sounds like something is loose but trying to think of what it is is tough. Sway bar sounds like something to check. Are the top of the spring nuts fully tightened? Did I see you saying you had a bunch of pics to post?

Just throwing suggestions in the comment section, maybe someone will get it right.

Edited and removed the suggestion meeting a local expert since I see your following post.

What’s the first problem? Yes I’m very grateful for all of the help/ideas and I’m sure they have my best interest in mind, but as a woman I simply cannot do that.

Underneath of the passenger side. The mud isn’t the reason for it. This started before my truck ever even touched a spec of dirt.

Has the shop specifically checked the ubolts for your leaf packs they installed and retightened them?

Drivers side. The sound is more prevalent on the passenger but I feel it in floor while driving.

They said they went over everything supposedly. They never gave me a list of what just said “we don’t know” & gave me back my keys.

Then I (you) should double check all fasteners. If you don’t own a torque wrench they can be rented from a parts store for free. Ubolt check would be easy and you want those tightened on the ground so no need for a jack.

I asked if this was checked because it somewhat sounds like axel wrap caused by weak or loose leaf springs.

Maybe this was posted, do you still have the oem off road skid plate? Was it installed right? There are 2 slots at the front for tabs on the frame? Maybe they’re not sitting right? Sorry can’t find a pic of it installed.

I’ve been trying to for a month, but the shop gave up on it pretty much. It’s very tough! I checked my CV axles, my UCA’s. I don’t think it could be the drive shaft because it’s a 2023 & it got checked when it was lifted for an oil change. I’ll have to see about the sway bar & nuts.
I know, if I had someone else with me I absolutely would, but it’s just a safety thing

That’s perfect, thank you! When I have the chance I’ll go & check all of those. If it was this would you say it’s safe to drive for a couple weeks until it can be replaced?

Since your leaf springs hold the entire rear axel to the truck frame, the bolts need to be secure. I doubt they’re dangerously loose but I’d look at them soon anyways. You don’t have to have a torque wrench to check for general tightness, it’s more for precision and knowing when to stop.

I understand that and sorry I missed if you said that before my post.

A shop really should fix it if it was caused by something they did. hope you find it, the post above might be onto something too.

I have a 23 w basically your suspension set up. I’ve had issues with this particular shop. I to have a clunk sound but it’s intermittent. Almost always when I first get in and go it that intual clunk and of course I get the ultra defensive we did everything to spec form the tech. I live in an area where there is not many options for quality mechanics or 4wd shops. Of course this one works on Jeep upgrades constantly so you would think they know about suspension.

Have you checked under the hood? Open it up, wiggle things, see if you can re create the noise, sound travels more than you think sometimes

OP post where you are on your trip, and see who is close that can help identify your clunk

That's funny you mentioned a "clunk" noise the first thing when you start driving. I have a 22 TRD Sport all stock suspension with no suspension mods. It's make a pop-clunk noise since day one every morning first thing leaving the driveway. Sounds like it comes from the front passenger side. Only does it once first thing in the morning and never again all day. Its weird. I've just come to accept it.

Are you sure that your new wheel is clearing the brake caliper on that side?
