Not bad price at all on the CCI........granted, I haven't checked the prices in months. It looks like they had a bunch of it, so that's a great sign. I need to get back into buying a box a month from Academy.....just haven't had the will or monies

 

Palmetto State has decent prices and their AAC 77gr 5.56 is phenomenal. I bought 2k of the CCI 9mm on the valentines sale and it's running good too.

Never had any of that. I've always just grabbed Remington, Winchester, Speer, CCI from Academy. My HP's are Sig

 

Jonny recommend it and said its good. Its brass

I don't really know if it matters as far as range ammo is concerned. The only time I haven't bought brass is when ammo was so short you had to buy what was available......I flipped it

 

I never even looked at that rabbit hole

Plus, I don't shoot enough to justify the initial cost

 

i practice with what im going to shoot so i know there's no question its going to work.

 

Shit, not me. Hollow points are too expensive for that

You ever shot at that PRS range near Bham? Finding places to stretch out my rifle is tough. Seems like the CMP is about the only 400+ yard option without going 4-5 hours away.

 

There's an inside/outside firing range not to far from me outside of Sardis.

 

I started building an AR10. Aero upper/lower/LPK/buffer kit, Elftmann trigger, Magpul K2+ grip.......and then realized that distance is way outta my sight range so now it just sits in the safe

 

I’d hate to see that firing range!

 

I’ve thought about building an ar10. What caliber did you go with?
