Gonna take my oldest to his first baseball game on 4/14. Going down to the Bronx to catch the Yankees game that day.

Yep! He's off from school that week for Spring Break, and the Mrs and I decided to get some tickets as a Christmas gift.

They're not great seats, but I think it'll do for his first experience.

Maybe find which fuse it gets it's "accessory" power from, pull it, and put a switch inline with it.

An oil change might be difficult but I can work on something like this.

 

I thought about that but not sure what to look for in terms of a fuse switch, like a breaker. Although maybe I should call Crutchfield first.

 

I just saw this pic of your HU. Hit the button with the 4 small boxes in the center on the bottom. Does that bring up an option to hit AV, then power off…. Like I tried to describe in my other post?

 

So I hit the button with 4 small boxes (center, bottom) and this screen comes up:


then hit AV and this screen comes up:


then hit the "off" button with the music note and it just shuts off the audio. Screen then looks like this:

 

So strange…looks like a mute button. My model specifically says power off and the unit shuts down. I’ll keep looking!
