    So the part in Episode 4 where they’re climbing the rocks to go save the kid from that big ass dragon nest was all built by me and my guys.

    Me hoisting long runs of truss vertically so we can attach them to the container pipe up above and safely secure the truss to make a wall. My buddy Dylan securing the truss

    Attaching high density foam “rocks” to the face of the structure we built. We drilled 2” holes through the foam, and then ran a pipe through the foam to the back where the pipe grid is and secured the foam with said pipe.

    You can see how the pipe that go through the foam attach to the pipe grid in the back

    Once all the foam “rocks” were secured and rock climbing hand holds were placed and secured, then the set painters came in and did their magic and made them look like real rocks

    Looks like any ol rock climbing wall, I don't see where the challenge is /s


    That's cool, there was one particular scene you could totally tell the guy had a harness on, his armor was super wonky

    oh cool!!!! so in essence, a rock climbing wall built super quickly. not bad!

    yeah, i noticed that too. definitely had some harness on. but meh, i can excuse it.

    What a cool Mando episode! Zeb! Kick ass dog fights! Paz being a f'n badass and backing Din finally. Was it the Night Owls that broke out Gideon? Or a setup? The New Republic is about as worthless as tits on a bull, one Lamda class transport for a Moff?

    I mean, I thought it was pretty cool haha. I’ve never built a on the fly rock wall before. Then the deck was painted blue, there was blue screen behind it, and then we brought blue screens from up above to where they could edit stuff in above them while they filmed from underneath them climbing upwards.

    I screamed when I saw Zeb. Lol. I loved seeing him in live action and he was a GREAT cameo. If you knew, you knew. if you didn't, you just thought, "oh cool. another alien". I also loved Carson Teva. He needs more screentime. AWESOME character who can show you just how ineffective the new republic is.

    Yeah, i'd imagine tons of blue/green screens. Question though when building something like that, what's the safety factor here? how are you ensuring that your stuff is built safetly to handle hundreds of pounds of load. Is there some inspector coming around? I mean, it's not like you have an inspector coming around checking your framing for any of the buildings that you build, right?

    I think they were trying to rezone anyway right? So really they were doing them a favor. Also, are there only like 18 people in that town? Seemed awfully space when they were seeking shelter

    So we have rogue Mando's. Good Mando's have a new home that's rubble lol, Bo got a promo to go find other Mando's and retake Mando-world and possibly tame the beast. What's our Mando to do? A lot of gears spun on this episode. (and I had no commercials)

    Din is really without any plan isn't he? He could go with Bo Katan and leave the N1 with the group, but I can't imagine that being exciting tv, like watching an army recruiter work. Maybe Teva goes back to ask them about the beskar chunk and we get our bounty hunter back
