@G_W_Chonkr Little slow at the shop today so I pretty much got them modeled and programmed and ready to rock. I can adjust things easily for hole size changes tomorrow if needed.

Did a bunch of maintenance/mods today that Ive been putting off for quite a while. Changed the oil, rewired my GPS override switch into my Switchpros and also wired in a new anytime front/rear camera switch that is the correct size for my panel. I also got the bed light switch from a double cab truck to fill the hole in my panel. I have been researching adding that light and figured Id buy the switch at least so I dont have a hole anymore. To my amazement there is a plug that matches the switch. I have a 2018 access cab TRD Offroad that never had a switch in that spot. The wiring is actually functional which is cool, at least for the switch to be back lit. Ill have to swap in the double cab 3rd brake light and see if it works. Based on some threads here I was under the impression it wouldnt so Ill be really happy if it does.

Lol! I do that allll the time too. I need to steal one of the space mouse' floating around the shop. Makes it so much easier. But thanks dude! Had some time at the end of the day so figured why not be extra and model up the part prior from the drawings and dims he gave. Should be super quick and easy tomorrow. Even spit out code and made it one program with a M00 (hard stop) with notes to flip and bank off a known Stop to do the other set of holes. Backplot says about 2 and a half minutes per part (actual machine time will be a tad longer) Oh, and I added a nice 3D deburr toolpath with a Ballmill to break the edges of those bores through the angled faces.

This was my actual work today.. Started off as a 4.500 long x 3.250 Round of 304 Stainless.

Op1 partially roughed in on the 5 Axis..

During roughing on Op2. Using a brand new OSG coated 4 Flute square endmill, buried at full Axial (~1.175") and .020" Radial at 350 SFM (spinning at 2675 RPM and feeding at 50 IPM). Ripped through it all in about 10 minutes.

oh.. and my job earlier this week.. test cutting some special Ceramic.. had to rig up something to try and contain and collect the dust. ran dry with both 5 and 3 Flute tools. I named it the Bendy-Sucky 3000..

Hold on, what are you doing with side lock holders?!?! We've seen a little more than double the life of an end mill using hydraulic (Schunk or Erickson) or Lyndex VC types

Oh, and love the 5th Axis vises

We have a couple hydraulic holders.. but most are side lock and a range of collet. We're slowly upgrading everything throughout the shop as we grow, but we also don't NEED them for what we do, so money is spent elsewhere. But I do like them and wish we had more.

So by your screen name (PonderosaTaco) I'm guessing you have some connections to Flagstaff (or other parts of Northern AZ)?
