I've read around and searched, found a little info on it. But I wanna know does going from the stock tire on trd 4x4 to the same size in a BFG at really take away from your fuel mileage? And if so how much of a loss are you seeing?

If you really read around and searched then you wouldn't need to ask this question.

You probably won't lose any if you stay the same size.

its a heavier tire so it is going to take away some... Might notice a little difference but not nothing you would freak out about.

The more aggressive the tread pattern, the more resistance it has...but you won't notice a power or MPG loss

That's like splittin hairs......No, you won't notice it - and if you do notice it, then you probably shouldn't be driving a truck anyways. You should have a Prius. :p:p :D;)

In a 265/70/16 or 265/65/17 It should still be a C load range so the weight difference will be minimal.

Well, this is my prius. LOL I'm coming from a 2007 Chevrolet 2500HD Crew cab with the duramax.

Has anyone done any real world comparisons before switching?
