BFG at's vs stock tires

I've read around and searched, found a little info on it. But I wanna know does going from the stock tire on trd 4x4 to the same size in a BFG at really take away from your fuel mileage? And if so how much of a loss are you seeing?

You probably won't lose any if you stay the same size.

 

its a heavier tire so it is going to take away some... Might notice a little difference but not nothing you would freak out about.

 

The more aggressive the tread pattern, the more resistance it has...but you won't notice a power or MPG loss

 

That's like splittin hairs......No, you won't notice it - and if you do notice it, then you probably shouldn't be driving a truck anyways. You should have a Prius.

 

In a 265/70/16 or 265/65/17 It should still be a C load range so the weight difference will be minimal.

 

Well, this is my prius. LOL I'm coming from a 2007 Chevrolet 2500HD Crew cab with the duramax.

Has anyone done any real world comparisons before switching?
