    So, are there any roof racks/baskets that aren't complete custom jobs for Tacoma cabs (not shells)? Everything I find is either the Yakima style bars or stuff for 4 Runners and FJs.

    Something like this:

    Agreed! But, I think I'd rather go full custom so that everything matches and fits the way it should rather than mod something to work the way I want.

    If I'm gonna drop the coin on it, I'm gonna get it done right and the way I want it! :)

    I can't imagine what I would put on the roof either, but I want to mount lights. This seems to be the only "good looking" way I can think to do it...

    Can't do that now that I have the fiberglass tonneau cover. If I didn't have the bed cover, I'd DEFINITELY go for the bed mounted light bar.

    i think its hideous. I would strongly encourage you NOT to do something so devastating to the appearnce of your truck.

    Also, take the tonneau cover off and do a black headache rack IF ANYTHING

    Considering the tonneau cost me $1000, I'm gonna keep it on for a while. :)

    But rest assured that I won't do this mod if I'm not in love with the rack design. The one photoshopped above is really too tall - I want it a little lower profile. But it gives me an "idea"...
