They’re just as much a MT as my 7yo and dry rotted BFG KM2s were they replaced. Almost a mirror image of them. Definitely quiter, too. I should rack up a couple thousand miles in the next month or so.

Yeah, they seem to be advertising them though as a mud oriented hybrid tire. That being said what better way is there to under state and over deliver. They truly are the class of the hybrids for sure. That’s coming from a guy that’s ran Toyo RT (horrid tire) and Cooper ST Maxx (great tire but weaker in mud).

Getting there with mine. I’ve logged about 14k miles and several monsoon quality storms. They handle very well at highway speeds in the rain. Ran through several spots in DFW at least 2-3” deep and doing 70mph with not so much as a steering wheel shimmy. No winter stuff yet.

If you happen to encounter snow/ice, they do remarkably well for a non-all terrain.

Anyone able to chime in on how the Grabber X3's are doing after 30k miles? I'm trying to decide between these and the Geolander MT G003. My tire guy has them for the same price.

Also, what load rating would be best for offroading/trails/rocks? I'm in socal so it gets a bit rocky. I'm looking at 35x12.5R17. I'm leaning towards E rated. Truck is not a DD but will see mixed street and off-road use.

That Geolander MT G003 is a good looking tire. I can't speak for it in comparison, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set of these Grabbers.

Thank you for the update . Are you running the C or E load rated tire? How are they holding up off-road?

Off-roading has consisted of dirt roads and light mud crossing honestly. It seemed to clear the red clay based mud decently with a little wheel speed. I’m running a 33 on a 15” wheel, too. So I have more sidewalk than the average modern tire. On road in monsoon conditions has been spectacular. Rolled through DFE doing 70+ and even in the flooded underpasses (2-4” of water) it never hydroplaned. Not saying it couldn’t, but it didn’t. Dry, wet, and a week of freezing they held up fantastic.

Put it like this, I’ve never had to worry about a road or off road condition.

Just ordered a set. A little anxious after reading reviews here and other places. Overall, they have been very positive, so we'll see how they go. Should be installed next week so I will post pics and initial impressions. Mine are 265/70R17's. So, basically the same size you are getting. Do you have any updates?

No updates unfortunately, still waiting for winter to be over before I mount them up.

I ran a set of 5 and rotated the 5th one. This netted me right at 84000 miles. 84000/5=16800. 16800•4=67200. So close to 70k for a set of 4 is not bad but the siping was gone on the lugs. The lugs were still usable for off-roading but it was getting to the point where I was nervous when it rained.

Got a set "by accident" since I wanted the AT's. The warehouse I ordered from didn't have the AT's in stock but I was still able to order 5. They gave me the X3's for the price of the AT's and $250 off for the mistake. Got them mounted to the Weds in May 2022 and they have been good so far. I just wished it snowed more in the winter.

    Roughly 15k on them

I was cross shopping these when I bought new tires but they weigh over 10 pounds more than the mickey Thompsons I bought. Do you notice that weight? I'm running 285 75 16. It looks like you have the same FN five star wheels that I have as well. Your truck looks awesome by the way.

I went from 285/75/16 duratracs on steelies to these 17's on alloys. I didn't really notice a difference.

They're JDM Weds not the FN's but look similar just a bit more pricy lol. And thanks.

@geekhouse23 very capable and rugged looking rig. Love the red letters on the X3's. I see you upgraded to the jack o lantern snorkel. Lol.
