I don’t condone or have ever hit a woman, but if they will pay for it and want it….. I can give them lips like that on the cheap! Lol (jus joking) every time I see someone w botox lips I think they got slugged

( I didn’t know botox came in different flavors… the brands on the luggage bins..? What next they’ll be marketing it like wine?)
(( yes it comes with a cheery blossom bouquet and a rich smoky oak essence with a slight dark chocolate after taste))

I sure miss my ‘72 240-Z. I built it up for street duty back in the early ‘80’s. Kept the original 150HP inline 6 and built it. 0.30 over ported and polished / balanced and blue printed. Isky race mid rev cam, dual Webber down draft carbs 3-into 1, 3-into 1 Hooker headers through cherry bombs that stacked two pipe tailpipe out the back, super loud and thumped with that cam. 4-speed manual, It put out 280HP when done. Centerline wheels with 60 series tires all the way around. Stop light to stop light It made more than a few 5.0 mustang owners wonder what just happened. Lol

Photo taken of an old crappy photo. Look close for the Porsche inspired whale tail. Super fun car.

Shortly after the motor completion I moved from Northern Colorado to San Diego. Within 6 months of living there and my first day on the job at Home Depot this car got stolen out of HD’s parking lot. I came out for lunch and it was gone. I was young and barely scraping by so I only had liability insurance on it, no theft insurance. Took 2 weeks before it was found. Well at least until I finally located it at a police impound lot. I was calling daily and they kept saying it hadn’t been found yet. Two weeks go by of this and one day I call and they say they had it. They’ve had it for a week. WTF! Obvious liars and only wanted to increase the impound lot storage daily fees. It cost my $500 to get it out. The crooks took it on a joy ride then dumped it but not before stripping it of the wheels, kick ass stereo, radar detector and all my personal items out then dumped it below a freeway overpass, dropping the car onto the pavement without blocks. Ruined the rotors. They also had a minor front end crash with it. The dumbasses weren’t smart enough to pull the freshly built race motor out. Or even take the Webber carbs off.

I had problems getting the car smogged in California to begin with, quite the hassle getting someone to pass it, basically turning a blind eye and passing it. So after the theft I was bummed and didn’t want to deal with rebuilding the front end and such [stupid decision] ended up pulling the motor myself and selling the car and motor separately. That motor supposedly ended up in a sand rail / dune buggy for desert ripping.

To add more to the story of that car as I’m reminiscing and up all night with insomnia.

When I took the motor in for a build. The shop had it for a month. During that time an older lady came in with her 240Z for a tuneup. She was frustrated that it wouldn’t stay tuned up for long because it had “these damn aftermarket carburetor setup on it”. Lol - The mechanic quickly realized she had dual Webber downdrafts which would be perfect for my performance build. He talked to her about switching for my stock setup carburetors assuring her it would be better for her because it would stay in tune way longer. And his other client [me] may be interested in race carbs for my build. She didn’t hesitate with a yes if I agreed. He called me up and I jumped on it.

The reason the Webber carbs in stock form wouldn’t stay in tune for long on her car is because they were cable actuated. They were known to go out of tune with cable stretch. My mechanic was a wiz and assured me he could fix that issue. He custom created a mechanical linkage with plastic ball joints and all, worked flawlessly and never an issue going out of tune.

Looks like one is a ‘1973 and the other a ‘2003.
