2024 Taco EV

just read an article about a 2024 Taco EV to be coming , there may be a thread already I'm guessing, but what is Tacoma World saying ? , my 2017 Sport suits me fine just asking

 

Yes, I heard an EV and a diesel.

Don't much care. I stopped looking at new Tacos when I bought my '21 TRD OR.

 

no shit,,,, it's time. It's not like the 4th gen isn't coming, make a "speculation station" or something already.

 

It will be on the showroom floor parked next to the turbo diesel and rotary powered Tacoma's.

Can't see the EV being ready for a few years. And deff can't see a diesel coming as well

 

Toyota announced several EV concepts (including a Tacoma) a year or two ago.

 

Ya but the EV won't be ready I would say till 26 or 27

I believe this is also where most of the 4th gen renders are coming from

But will it have rear disc brakes?

 

Well they were actual rolling concepts there too.

 

I can’t wait for a diesel, sorry not a EV guy at all. From my understanding Toyota will not have a dpf or a egr. Not sure if that’s factual or not but I’ll definitely trade one of my tacos in for one.

The bz4X was produced and recalled because the wheels fell off. Could have been a supplier issue. Still not a good look for Toyota.

That Cruiser thing was canceled, I didn't really care for it. Not the most successful campaign from Toyota to date.

Maybe the 4th gen will do bette?

 

you are going to see electric before you see diesel,,,, you are probably going to do a lot of things before you see diesel.
