    Took a few corned beefs to pastrami land the last few days. Damn is a hot sandwich just so good! Pastrami, Swiss, kraut on rye….I don’t think there’s a better hot sandwich out there!

    I need to go to the store and buy 4-5 heads of cabbage and start a batch of kraut….and then make more pastrami. Perhaps I’ll make some bread for this one.

    They had fresh baked rye with caraway seeds so I changed course on the spot. I’ve been putting caraway seeds on my pizzas for years, I love them!

    Yep - caraway seeds in my kraut when I make it! And some juniper berry as well as red chile flake! Have you ever made your own kraut? It is a game changer if you haven’t. so good! And great looking pies as well!
