I'm guessing if this guy is doing a lift, he's into doing more of his own maintenance.

An impact gun is incredibly helpful for those 5k tire rotations or any time you want to remove the tires. From there, you just start finding more uses ;)

and no, you don't need to have one.

I wasn't sure if he was buying an impact gun just for this install. That would be a waste in my opinion, especially if he doesn't have an air source.

I agree, you can never have too many tools. I have just about any tool you'd ever need but as stated above I didn't know if he was buying for just this install and if he had an air source for the gun.

Understood. Judging by your build I figured you were not having someone else do all your work for you.

I don't like paying someone else to do any labor. Even when I did my rear bearings. I went out and bought a press, made my own adapter, and did the work. Instead of paying 200 bucks to a shop I put it towards the press and I had enough scrap steel to make an adapter. Instead of paying people to do work they should just put it towards the tools and fix cars on the side for people. That's what I do and in the end all the tools get paid for by other people.

Does anyone need anything done :)

Yep. My shop teacher said his tools have paid for themselves at least 10 times after fixing friends and family cars. I try to do the same by working on my GF's corolla. She never seems to end up forking out any cash though...
