I recognize the hook echo but is the red higher velocity?

That is just water droplets. The previous was velocity. Red and blue next to each other is bad.

This is the correlation coefficient. The blue center is debris and a lot of it.

This velocity scan reveals (radar indicated) 145mph gate to gate shear. Utter destruction

Hopefully it won't be so supercharged by the time it gets to Alabama

I hate the storms coming through after I go to bed. I think the last bad 1 hit around midnight here and was over in no time.

RCBS turrent press. Used a single stage for a long time. Dies from multiple makers (Lee, Dillon, RCBS) depending on ammo. Carbide dies are the snitz for pistol and 5.56 since they require no lube. RCBS electronic powder thrower and scale. Great for pouring the powder for .300 win mags and really great accuracy in the throws. A tumbler with the steel needle bearings. Picked up one used from a friend and will never go back to using corn cob media. Been loading for over 40 years now and still picking up new techniques, etc (Youtube especially). Think I might have already posted it but finally worked up some loads for my Granddad's 1893 Winchester in 38-40. Shot my first deer with it this year.

Been my experience that when you see the bad ones developing out west before the storms get here it means much higher likelihood of bad storms here.

    Everyone be safe.

We have a high pressure ridge thankfully that won't allow the system to take over the state. Once they move from northwest Alabama towards the southeast they will be weakened quickly

Good deal. Apr 11 storms saw dozens of really bad ones as the system moved from the west towards Alabama.

Ok. I was thinking the other day about how good it is to live in Alabama whenever or wherever subject of college football comes up.
