I was wondering if their is any correct way of doing this beside just making it as centered as possible to the eye. Like is eyeballing the best way of centering the tent and bar?

It doesn’t really matter a whole lot. When I had mine I just made sure the majority of it was supported and adjusted as I needed it.

For example I once had it centered on the rack but one of the windows wouldn’t open because it was too close to the cab. I scooted it back enough for the window to clear and that was that.
