Alabama thread!

My brother bought a single stage Lee but I haven’t gotten to play with it yet. I’m interested but don’t know what I don’t know yet. When I get to try it out I’ll probably have questions.
Any recommendations on good books?

Tornadic supercell storms are still traversing areas near the Mississippi/Tennessee border from south of Memphis to near Savannah TN.

Storms are especially severe tonight over parts of Kentucky and Indiana. A severe storm caused a roof collapse at the Apollo Theatre in Belvidere IL where a concert was getting ready to start. There have been multiple injuries reportedly. Another report said that the Coroner had been called. Belvidere is east of Rockford IL.

The good news is that further south, storms seem to be having a hard time forming and getting organized.

Looking at the mesoscale parameters, instability values over Alabama are lower. Speed shear is sufficient for organized storms from any updrafts that develop. Low level helicity is very strong across the northwestern third of Alabama.

So we will maintain a severe threat for the overnight hours, with a tornado threat northwest of a line from Reform to Jasper to Hanceville to Scottsboro.

But the good news is that severe weather parameters do appear to be decreasing, especially over Central Alabama. But let’s don’t let our guard down just yet.

 

For basic info on how to reload use Youtube (doesnt matter if it is a Lee press or another, RCBS has a great series). Books depend on what calibers u will reload and the bullets/powders you will use. I have books with reloading recipes for Remington, Hornady, Sierra and Berger bullets. Powder manufacturers also have load recipes online and website Loaddata has about every load ever written (small subscription fee). PM me and we can discuss more at some point.

Not much going on today, I should go grocery shopping though.

 

I used the last of my shampoo and deodorant.....so I've got to stop on my way home Should just start Amazoning it

 

I've been amazoning more and more things this past year. LOL.

 

It pissed me off when they took away the 2 day shipping guarantee....but I still use it a lot

 

I agree, I actually stopped using them for a couple months. LOL.

 

Yet they went up on their yearly fee....just doesn't make sense to charge more and offer less...............the new American way I suppose

 

They call it inflation but to me it's just price gouging greed.

 

Last Thursday @ Half Moon Cay. Had a little water spout that created a great picture. Overall the Carnival Sunshine, while a smaller side of their fleet, was great. Nassau sucked as usual, shit hole of a port.

Ate too much, gambled too much but last “sea” day I had two good runs and cashed out $2800 in the early afternoon and $1310 just before midnight closing. Got my losses back plus essential paid for cruise (or another)
