I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma and it's wired for a camera. Where can I buy just the rearview camera mirror? I have found the mirror and the camera.

Are you saying you only find them in sets, but you only need the mirror?

    Example from another thread..

Well met, my friend, and hale you and your kin are! Verily, the most vital thing is one's safety and well-being. However, I caution thee to heed the counsel that doth flow here, for 'tis but a WAG - a wild ass guess - from those unable to inspect thy conveyance. Nay, I doth suspect that none of these comments doth come from insurance adjusters. They, in their wisdom and expertise, wouldst declare that naught can be said without laying eyes upon thy carriage. Verily, the sole opinion that holds import is the adjuster assigned to thy claim.

Lol, this still doesn't answer the question!

Do you need the CAMERA, or do you need the MIRROR.
One takes the picture, the other shows you the picture. The one inside the truck isn't the camera, so is that what you need?

I need the mirror inside the truck. There is a camera on the tailgate handle or am I confused?

    You have options.

There’s available a camera that physically mounts to the rear view mirror. It’s more of a dash cam and doesn’t have a tv screen.

Or a camera that mounts to the rear of the vehicle. Those usually wire to the head unit to provide a tv screen. It’s more of a backup camera.

There’s also available a replacement rear view mirror that becomes a tv screen wired to a camera mounted to the rear.

No, it was confusing since you said the "mirror camera", said inside the truck, but also said you need the camera which isn't the mirror or inside the truck.

Just trying to figure out exactly what you were looking for.

The camera signal is likely just a standard old school single wire connection and most displays should work. So if you find a mirror you like it should work

I guess I need a replacement rearview mirror because there is a wire coming from the camera mounted in the rear of the tailgate that is above the headliner of the mirror now. Where can I get one?
