I tried Occidental Oxy-Light framers , too heavy for me

 

Yeah, then you wouldn't like these either, these are twice the wieght empty as the light ones, and those are even to heavy as you say. I just dont wear them enough to warrant buying a new pair.

Holy shit, I just looked them up, same price. Quality isn't cheap though.

 

I had a set of Diamondback Artisan which had a lot of things I liked but I ultimately found them to be too long and the suspenders are anything but comfortable , this Badger set is their Trimmer set which eliminated the upper hip tape pocket on each side so they are 11" long instead of 14" and Badger is the guy that originally was Diamondback so the set ups are really similar but the Badger is more comfortable and incidentally Badger is partnered with Occidental Leather to produce these

 

I saw that on the tag on yours and then again when I looked them up. They look comfy as hell, I miss wearing bags once in a while. Traded them in for a tape measure and a computer years ago though, it is easier on the body but not as rewarding as actually building with my hands.

Went to the high desert today to gawk at the poppies/wildflowers. While there were insane numbers of orange poppies, it looked like many more are on the way (many buds).

 

Very cool seeing this in person on the beach!

No, I'm in Malaysia for work. That would be crazy though!

 

We have them here in FL. They're starting to move north from Miami and the Keys. They have the same rules as iguanas, pigs and pythons, we can kill them any time of year, no license needed. Anything invasive has that rule. Just saw the other day that people are losing their cats to the bigger lizards, I have yet to see one walking around though, give it a couple years and they'll be everywhere I am sure.
