Looking to lift my 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro 2-3” but I don’t know know how it works.

Do they rip out the existing shocks and replace them? Seems like a shame with fairly new/expensive suspension.

Does that lift generally require new, bigger tires? Also seems like a shame with fairly new tires that only have 15k miles on them.

And what’s the general cost? As you can tell from my cluelessness I’d be looking for a shop to do the install.

look up westcott designs lift kit. Uses your factory front suspension with no need for needle bearing replacement or aftermarket upper control arms and you can add an add a leaf to the rear or block or a whole new leaf pack whichever you prefer.

Sounds like something like this plus a Headstrong 3 Leaf AAL with 1/2" block in the back is just what you'd need.
