So I have a new 23 Limited Long Bed 4x4. I got a couple of comments that my truck looks like it sits to low. Looks squatted and needs a lift or something.

Looked into the Factory Lift with WildPeaks and got a quote. Four thousand for everything installed. But I am wondering if I go with just the WildPeaks. In 265/65/18 s one size up. Will this give my truck a good look/ stance. Anyone have similar issues or thoughts? Or even care lol.

Might go with tires first see how it looks.

Who the fuck cares what others think? What do YOU think is all that matters. Lift it, lower it or leave it be.
I have a lot of the long bed trucks around here and they look no different than the short bed like mine. Don't overthink.

I can’t comprehend if you’re saying it’s actually squatted or if you just want to lift your truck?

People stop and ask me how tall my lift is all the time. Totally stock other than wheels & tires. 57C7FE7B-397A-4533-9DA4-09628F65C05C.jpg

That quote feels a hair too high for me.

That tire is 1200 after mount and balance.

2800 for a lift is meh. It's not the worst quote in the world, but it's far from the best. A simple Bilstein shock swap can be done for under 2k, installed and aligned.

I'd shop around. And get away from factory lift. No such bird exists. It's just an aftermarket lift that's licensed to slap a Toyota logo on it.

I thought my DCLB looked a little too stretched-out and low when I first bought it so I installed an OEM-style roof rack and that helped a bit but it still wasn’t quite right IMO. After a few more months I installed a ~2” lift and now I’m satisfied with the looks (even with the stock tires)

Yea I did get a quote for $2,958 for a 3 and 2 inch lift incudes the WildPeaks installed. It was Rough Country front spacer and V2 shocks and blocks in rear. Including alignment, diff drop, and recalibration of sensors they said they could do that.

Truck just look like it sits to low to the ground from the factory. With stock tires. I should have got a new Tundra I guess.

I am not sure if you think it’s too low or you’re looking for an excuse to lift. Lifts look cool but once you play with the suspension you limit those who may want to purchase it from you later. Enjoy and do what you like

I have never thought my dclb looked to low it was actually the perfect size I’m 6ft and I slid right in. Now that I’m lifted I have to climb up in.

How about 5100s with the Trail Edition coils so there's no pre load rear blocks to cut costs. 1st eddition 4Runner Pro wheels in the matte gray finish the Wild Peaks you want in 17". Swap out the chrome grille trim ring and fog bezel to match the black badges keep the grey grille so the new wheels match. Leave the chrome mirror caps so the door handles don't look out of place.

I felt my 2022 DCLB looked too long for it's height when I got it but I needed the 6ft bed and I knew once I lifted it I'd like it's looks even better than if it was a DCSB.

Looks great any problems OR ISSUES with radar cruise or TSS? Or needle bearing etc. I think that with 2 inch lift’s definitely seems owners having less issues.

I have a DCLB (stock) and I think it looks better overall in proportion. The SB's to me look like they got cut off from behind and the 4 door section looks too big for the little five foot bed. Lifting just makes stuff wear out quicker, makes it ride crappier, and is more headache down the road. Ask me how I know.

No problems with any of those things so far. Keeping the lift 2" or under on these trucks and using good parts will net good results and minimize chances of issues others say you'll have. I went from stock, soft, Hitachi shocks to Bilstein 5100's so of course it's a little firmer but the fact I didn't use stock springs with the perches cranked to the moon and went with a 3 Leaf AAL in the rear rather than a 2" block or super stiff single AAL makes all the difference. I'm sure a full leaf pack would be even better. My only regret was trying to get away without doing the UCA's and now I'm going to end up doing them down the road and paying for an alignment twice.

These trucks don't need a lift unless you're serious about more challenging off roading. All others needing a lift fall into the small pecker syndrome.

I felt like my truck squatted when I first got it. here is my truck as it sits today:

    Stage 1 Eibach (2nd Clip)
-just over 2in lift in the front
    Dobinsons UCA's
Full Dobinsons leaf pack replacements for the rear
-about 2.5in lift in the back

285/70 17 Duratracs with T8 Seekers Falcon Off road wheels -38 offset.

Much happier with the truck once I lifted it.
looking to get 35's this year and SCS Blaze 10 wheels
