Happened to me. Mine died after after 7 months and 8k miles. It was a single coil pack as well. Ended up swapping back to stock Denso and then ordered new packs from Rock Auto that I'm running now. Recently I reached out to Ripp to possibly order a replacement and they said the bad coil pack shouldn't have happened. They asked if the issue could be some corrosion. I haven't had time to look. Maybe in the future, if you want to combine the your set and sell them together so it could complete someone's vehicle with spares.

When I get some time I might test the resistance on them and see if there is one that is way off compared to the other survivors. If you want them you can have them honestly. I dont know I’d feel comfortable selling these packs to someone knowing that they can fail in such a shitty way.

2/10 (about how many of us have them I think?) Isn't a great track record. Hopefully I don't regret buying them...

TBH for a street rig, I think they're fine, if they do what they're supposed to do. Unfortunately race parts strike again. I'd probably carry spares anyway.

When I talked to Ripp, they said there's possible corrosion. "* Please preform a visual inspection of the contact spring inside the coil boot. Improperly installed units build up oxidation at this connection.". I can't imagine oxidation. I measured the resistance on two coils one good and one bad previously. Let me know if you find the same. After you decide what to do. I'll take them if you're going to get rid of them. Let me know.
