    1.25 Seat Blocks

Trail Grid Pro Dash Cam power dongle

She'll basically be a Trail Edition once I get new Rims and Tires soon, then I'll have to come up with new decals for the bed.

New tires. I got 32k out of the oem wrangler adventure kevlar. Got a good deal on revo3’s in 114t and I upsized from 265/70/16 to 265/75/16 no rubbing at all normal driving. Rides smooth and comfortable and really low almost unnoticeable road noise. I was going to get the
GO15’s bit I got these for the same price. Big ups to Costco for reprogramming a tpms for free. I took it to the dealer a while back because i was getting vibrations at hwy speed. I even mentioned that i thought it could be the tpms broken insode the wheel as i was getting tpms light too. They said i need front ant back breaks and new tires and alignment. I took it home and rotated the tires and could hear the tpms broken bouncing around in the tire. I bought an oem tpms for $100, put the spare on, cut the old tire with a sawzall and replaced the tpms before taking it in for new tires. On top of that i almost bought tores from the dealer and they said they could order anything, than said they couldn’t the GO15, revo3, or at3, just kept pushing the same recommendation of Hankooks they made from the start. Almost went for it too, would have cost me almost $2k with tires i didnt even want. Total cost so far is 1100 i just need front pads and ill be all in for less than 1300. Fk the dealership i only went to them for diagnostics and they couldn’t even to that right.

Front and rear brakes with 32k?????????? Either you never take your foot off the brake pedal, or the dealer is trying to steal your money by not being truthful about your brake pad status!

They tried to rip me off. The only reason I took it there is because I didnt think i was a balance issue because I had the truck for 3 months before it started and I didnt really think the tpms would just snap off for no reason. I change my own brakes and oil and would probably install my own lift if i bought one. I checked the brakes they probably have another 30k on them. And “rear drum brake service” never even heard of that but I looked it up and can definitely do it myself of its even needed lol.

Rear drum brake pads on these Gen 3 Taco's routinely last in excess of 100,000 miles, unless you have a stuck drum I can't see why they would need replacement at 32K! that sir is insane, I can't believe the dealership would even dare recommend something like that unless as I mentioned there is some other issue that caused your pads to stick (it does happen) There are a couple of specialized tools to make drum brake replacement easy, they're not expensive but really make the job a breeze that without them is a real P.I.T.A.

i know it's a bit back, but figured it was worth responding.

i've got the opt7 bar on my truck. still very mixed feelings after about 3-4 years of ownership(moved between trucks).

    the good:
    it's bright
it adds some extra light/awareness behind the truck.
    it sticks on
i love the 'solid light' appearance of it. cheaper iterations with larger spacing just look antique and grandpa-ish to me-- suitable for a pre-2000 truck, unacceptable on a 2000+ truck, imo.
seems to be built solidly, nice aluminum extrusion, epoxy coating looks well applied. fit/finish is excellent.

    the bad:
manufacturer defect warranty only, they sell additional warranty coverage. doesn't seem they trust their own product to stand behind it for even 1 year.
    EXPENSIVE
short. there's what feels close to a 6-8" gap on each side that really irritates me considering the cost and average typical width of midsize truck tailgates. it was short on my old '02 ranger as well.
prone to failure-- i've seen 4 other opt-7 bars on the road. a 4" section of mine failed about 3 years in. 3 of the 4 other bars i've seen have similar failures of varying lengths. not excited about replacing it, even less excited about the idea of replacing the replacement roughly every 2-4 years.
only includes a 4-pin harness with reverse as a bare wire. really irritates me they don't include a 5pin standard plug considering the cost and prevalence of 5-pin plugs.

i bought a replacement for mine already. but being the same guy that used to run the led section at hidplanet, i'm making considerations to build my own, because i don't fully trust the replacement to last long term, but love the look.

I see what you did there... How doeth thou gather such a conclusion from a mere comment you ask? Ye shall never fathom such discernment, tis not for the likes of ye blunderbusts.

Installed the OEM remote tailgate lock today. Can’t believe it isn’t a standard option. Wasn’t too bad to install, except the kick panel was a little stubborn going back on. Had to fuss with the plastic clips to get them lined up just right before it would cooperate.

Thanks to all the great tutorials, I installed my first mod today. I got a Tundra bed light switch on eBay and bed lights from Amazon. I added some strip LEDs because excess is best. Really a one beer job, but I stretched it to two beers for adequate testing!
