Thanks for the response. Also did a quick search on here and read that a few people on here were using G2 without any issues. Good to hear!

That 3M tape is indoor rated and will fall off after a few days with temperature and humidity changes, especially on plastic. Use proper 3M molding tape.

same as this stuff. i keep a half a dozen rolls on hand and just cut it down to size as needed. only benefit to ^those^ is the precut widths.

any of the dark gray 3m tape is the same stuff. just don't order from ebay or Amazon. too many fakes. auto parts stores or hardware stores only.

I had wondered about sway bar disconnects and hadn’t seen much. Now I know why. The constant maintenance is a pretty big requirement for a daily driver.

I too installed the oem tailgate lock today. Went pretty smooth but with my truck being a SR5 and no preinstalled wiring harness on the right side frame rail I had to improvise. I like the way it works but agree that it should be standard equipment.

...some before and after shots of some subtle changes. Swapped out the dark gray grille for a matte finish grille. Installed the flush license plate bracket, and added some TRD Accessories

I've only had it on for 3 days so it's only seen pavement. So far I'm happy with it though. The ride is stiffer, which was expected, and it has MUCH less body roll.

That’s is crazy. I’m going 76k on the originals right now and that’s running heavy 285 E load tires the entire time.

They fit really well can’t even notice that they are covering the original. They are a little pricey because they are real carbon fiber but I dig them. I got them from Tacoma Lifestyle.
