But don’t you have to have your registration and insurance if you get pulled over?

So, I also thought the KDmax was amazing, the truck felt quicker, lighter, just better all around. There were times when it would still gear hunt or the pedal was just a tad dead in between press/release and then quickly press scenario. Still way better than stock. I spent a good amount of time on the highest KDmax throttle settling and enjoyed the driving experience over stock. Also put it on the dyno after the KDmax tune. I never made a video or really put the numbers up any where because they were pretty sad. I do have the sheets where I tested the KDmax and the HPS tube and I'm pretty sure I saved the videos on an external SSD. I'll have to look for the videos to be sure.

How I ended up with the OTT. My battery kept dying or getting real close to dying so I picked up a newer AGM bat. AGM bats need a higher output from our alternators, so an update or a new tune was in order. The next day in the AM I saw a post on FB that OTT was going to be somewhat close to me, so I set up an appt that morning. It was way closer than the KDmax tuner.

As for the OTT, the truck feels even lighter, quicker, faster. My RPMs are lower through out all the gears. I can hang in the 80 -90 mphs and it feels like a regular car, even though I do not do this much. I feel like there is more power at a lower RPM and my exhaust even sounds better. I have no gear hunting at all on the highway and the gear shifts are crispy and quick. There is one spot where it hangs just a little between 3rd and 4th. OTT also has dyno sheets to show numbers. I know anything can be faked. I plan to put it back on the dyno to compare when I have time. It just seems to me that the OTT is more robust and better thought out beginning to end.

To make it extremely clear, I am not sponsored by OTT nor did I get a discount for my tune. I already had my computer unlocked so I paid the unlocked full price for the tune.

If you're happy with the KDmax thats all the matters. I'm not here trying to bash anyone. Having been through both tunes, the OTT is a superior tune in my opinion, it's the next evolution for our trucks. I'm on the medium spicy throttle daily with the ability to go full spice once the ECT button is pressed. If you're close to central FL I'll let drive it so you can feel the difference.

Thanks for the details! If I were closer, I’d definitely take you up on the offer. If I get the chance, I’ll try that tune for sure.

I've always been curious about this. Yes, if you keep it in the car, you'll always have it, but if someone breaks into your car, they'll know where you live, and let's say you ave a garage opener, they'd have free reign in your home.

But if you have it in your wallet, what if you don't bring your wallet with you. Like for me, when I go to the gym, I just bring my drivers license.

    Man, tough situation.

I was bored yesterday so I printed out one of those Gas hole things that the popular kids are putting on their truck. My printer isnt the best but i think it came out pretty good.

I find it silly that people think the clamp to hold the door shut is the holder. My first gen has an actual cap holder, so did my 5th gen 4Runner and so does my wife’s 2021 RAV4.

Keep your drivers license, reg and ins in a separate plastic sleeve in wallet or purse. Take it out and with you to gym or other. Not rocket science. Or just get a ticket from the cop.

Given that I’ve heard of a lot of cars being stolen from gyms, why would providing all of the vehicle information with the keys (so they don’t need to figure out which car is now “there’s”) along with your home address make any sense?

Installed the diode dynamics hidden light-bar i got from a member on here last year. Lol will be hooking it up to an auxbeam 8 gang switch but that will be installed on another day. Just took the positive and negative wires and touched it to the batt to see if it was working. Lol

In Colorado the registration has a copy without address information. My insurance card doesn’t have my address either.
However with a name it’s not too hard to find an address.
I guess we all need to set up little companies with a P.O. Box to buy and register our cars to hide our identities. Too complicated. Thieves suck.
