    I have been seeing a thread going around on Facebook about not buying gas on Monday March 14th as a strike on high gas prices. I don't know if it will actually make a difference or not but its nice to see that people want to try do something about it and not just complain. I for one am in. I will not be buying gas on Monday. Even if i have to get some on Tuesday.

    According to the thread that I saw, if we can everyone to agree not get gas it will take over $2,000,000,000 out of the pockets of the oil companies.

    With all the revolutions going on in the middle east, it would be interesting to see if we can use the internet to start our own.

    Anybody else in?

    I don't know what you guys are paying for gas, but I'm paying $4.00 a gallon here in San Diego. I'm willing to try anything. Especially if its as easy as not getting gas on Monday.

    They obviously have since gas prices seem to continue to increase despite all the attempts of not filling up our gas tanks one day out of the year. Your obviously too young to understand what real boycotts tried to achieve in the past and not just talking shit and throwing tantrums, which in the end only accomplishes getting our asses handed to us.

    One day wont do anything but disrupt the trucks with the fuel. That day there will be a shitload of fuel sitting around and the next day long lines and empty storage tanks. If you want to succeed you would have to either boycott one gas station each week and create a price war.

    Or just figure out Tom Ogles diagram of his fuel vaporization invention in which he wound up dead mysteriously in the desert. He has documented proof with the sun times of over 100mpg in a 1970 galaxy if I remember correctly. Oopps now im going to end up dead..
