So back on topic… Stroll rear ends Alonso who t-bones Hamilton And some how Norris still ends up in 17th.

What was the root cause of Russell flames ?

 

I have a hard time seeing the Sainz/Alonso bump as anything other than a 1st lap racing incident. Carlos got burned on that one.

 

Same, that was a BS penalty. Just another F1 weekend. That race did have it all though.

woohoo, McLaren 5th in the constructors and Norris in 8th.

Sainz is still the unluckiest guy on the grid and stroll somehow blags some points after driving himself into the gravel.

 

I hope F1 change the rules about being able to change tires under safety cars and red flags to how the F2 championship does it. In F2 any tire changes that happen under safety car or red flags do not count towards the mandatory change.

 

EVen fans thought the race was over.

 

Lawrence must be making some good "donations" to the FIA. Alonso last race getting 3rd reinstated, Lance not getting penalised for taking Charles out today and then the final result today with both Astons back in the points!

 

Even the announcers said Leclerc was responsible for taking himself out.

 

My comment was somewhat sarcastic.

No one person, company or team can or has ever bribed the FIA. All events listed above were all within FIA rules and stroll never causes accidents…

 

Leclerc turned into Stroll and not sure how else they could have finished the race , just say its over a lap short of race distance or qualify cars in positions they were in before passing a timing point ?
