Test was successful with 20 psi. Seems to be a good number with the pressure I’m after.

 

Added a quick connect.

 

Any ideas thoughts for a mounting bracket for the hose to the prinsu? You can see in the photo there are two holes. Or would it be a bad idea to travel with this and just connect when using?

 

I just connect when using. I use one of those expanding hoses so it folds fairly flat and doesn’t take up too much space.

 

Seems logical and the way ill got. Thought I’d just throw the idea out there.

 

I don’t think it’s a bad idea once you get to you destination though. Especially if you’re using it to hose off your gear. Maybe a magnetic hook like this?

I looked at those too. Think I might try these. Opening is an inch and a half.

So i ordered these and it will hold my hose nozzle and the magnet seems strong enough to hold it in place. I will test it out this weekend and let you know.

 

I ended up ordering the Quick Fist Mini. I think this will work best for me as I can hard mount this the Prinsu. It is small enough just hang the hose off this mount, rather then the shower nozzle as it more for hanging when not in use then showering.

Got the Quick Fist today, will try to get to the hardware store today and get it mounted to the Prinsu. Initial look at it seems feasible. Photos to come.

 

Since it came in a two pack, I mounted the second on the other side. Maybe flashlight?

Haha. I am thinking of all sorts of things I can use them.

 

Little update: tank has been in storage all winter long and it wont be long before camp season is in full swing. Probably get this back on the Prinsu in a couple of weeks or so.

For what it’s worth Costco was selling a fantastic rechargeable pump that works great for this purpose. Lightweight and easy to use and stores nicely due to its compact size. I get about 4-5+ uses before I need to recharge.
