I have been driving my truck everyday just fine, until yesterday I parked it at my friends house and we just hung out all night, and i woke up this morning and I go to start it and it will not turn over. I did some reading on here and I believe my fuel pump is starting to go, but i’m gonna check out my fuel relay and hopefully replace it, then hit the fuel pump or fuel tank with a mallet and see if that works. i've never been on here and i'm pretty much a noob when it comes to working on cars.

Your situation is called cranks but doesn’t start. So a dead or weak battery is already ruled out.

If you have access to a obd scanner/ reader I’d do that first, very easy.

If you suspect a bad relay, you could swap for example horn relay for fuel relay. That is if they both look exactly the same, same number of pins, same part number.

fuel pump needs to see the valve cam position sensor saying that the engine is turning over and it seems to be a favorite of rodents to chew on

You should be able to hear the fuel pump.

    Welcome to the forum.

I would add: check under the hood and elsewhere for evidence of "critter damage" (mice, chipmunks, squirrels etc) to the wiring.

Yeah: what caught my eye was "all of the lights are coming on". It's strange that all was fine when you parked it, the initial start the next morning is failure. Usually fuel system components and pumps give some advance warning when they are ready to give it up. If the Check Engine light is on, take it to a nearby Autozone and see what the ECC thinks is wrong.

Good luck and if you find/solve the problem please check back and let us know what it was.

When you crank the engine, does the check engine light even light up?

i feel hella stupid, but my truck was on a downward hill and it was not recognizing there was gas, i put it into neutral and rolled it to somewhere more flat and it ended up starting up, thanks for all the help everyone.

Don't beat yourself up over it: never occurred to me that it might be a low tank if gas. Glad it's resolved. Lesson learned on this one and it's positive one. I've never experienced it, but nevertheless something to put away for everyone if it ever happens to one of us in the future.
