I once won "a lot" of land in Mexico. A week later they sent me a bill for the taxes on the land. I don't know the statutes of limitations on something like that but I never paid. I have never been back to Mexico either.

I've given away some stuff here on TW a few times. If I remember correctly, I was warned for not posting a pic of said free stuff and was told that the rules still apply when giving stuff away which makes sense to me, as to avoid all these BS scams. Those fuckers are getting very creative how to get your money
Also, the minimum post thing I believe is to not make this site a platform or a craigslist/ebay for guys selling truck parts, which is not what this site is necessarily intended for. The rules encourage engagement into this community
