Sounds good, I can mail you some B-Day card cash or PayPal it to you. Was looking at white lines website after Brett's advice and decided to go that route anyway for most of them and TC for the rack. I'm pretty sure I did TC years ago for the extended cab, but had forgot its been so long.

 

Send me a PM and I'll get the ball rolling on this end.

 

Not to disrupt the white lines but the sonodorn or whatever lca bushings and good too. And easy to install and replace.

I was just giving you a hard time buddy. And it looks like Brett needs them more that me.

 

Wouldn't waste my time again with the ES bushings for the steering rack. Less than a season and my rack slides in the D bushing. Granted my rack mounts could be fubar like Brett's was. I plan to try the TC ones whenever I care enough to replace them.

 

The AMG is a 13 second car. More rubber in the rear and I think it could get into the 12s!

It was so much more fun than I expected. I wish I had done it sooner. I would be curious about what the green truck could do but with the AMG feeling like it could break 13 it's impossible to make the sacrifice. Maybe later this year I'll see if the green truck can put down a time... It's a fun day point to have.

Next two and then I think there's sanctioned events starting up with grudge/test weekends sprinkled in.

Here was my second run and you can see that I had traction issues. Also a weird bog in the rpm when it shifted into 3rd. Didn't happen on the final run so I'm not sure what happened.

Huh yeah that was an odd burble.

Looks fun though. Go to an autocross event too while you're trying out race car stuff. Looks so fun.

 

That would just end in tire smoke haha. If I wasn't selling the mini it would be so much better suited for that. After a lot of thought I am unsure if I want to keep racing the AMG. It's too cost prohibitive for me to try to gain more power. I could do some drag radials but that's about it with an engine that if blown is not something I can recover from. So we will see if I can leverage a different platform in the fleet...

 

Nah. They setup the courses so you will torture the tires for sure. But you'll barely ever get out of 2nd gear. It's more about cornering. Which yeah the big AMG probably isn't the best for. But it would still be fun in it. I'd at least try it.

Mini would be better sure. But I saw people running all kinds of stuff when I went to one. Looked awesome. Run what you brung!

I doubt you'll blow the engine. The diff or tranny...maybe haha

 

Yeah I don't think you understand that no matter the course, 500hp is gonna be a smoke show, never out of second. The car slides in second all day long without having to try. It's truly an Autobahn cruiser in every sense of it.

Right now the train is leaving the station on getting an old truck over 100mph. I pulled some parts off tonight. I will set a baseline and then spend the summer seeing what improvements I can make. It's no secret I'm bored with it so may as well see what else I can do with it. It's proven itself on the dirt. Time for a new chapter.
