I had a great experience with Driveshaft Pro out of San Diego a few years ago when I needed a new DS for the 4runner literally a week before leaving for the Colorado trip.

Every local shop said they couldn't get parts to rebuild the factory double cardan joint and no one could get the parts to build a new driveshaft. I called these guys and San Diego, had a 10 minute chat with Armando and 3 days later, UPS was dropping off a fully rebuildable rear driveshaft for under $500.

I'd say to give these guys a try, if nothing else get a competitive quote from them.

I got my KDMax tune this morning. Definitely noticeable. Much better throttle response and the shift points are better. Chris from MD/PA Tacoma Tunes was very helpful.

I'm definitely curious to know what all you ordered as well. I've heard that Tom Woods is sort of the go-to for the 3rd gen 4Runner community when it comes to custom driveshafts.

Anybody with a 3rd gen 4Runner looking for a sport hood? I see one on T4R under the classifieds section for $450 located in Maryland. I would do it, but that's too much for me and it's in the imperial jade mica color.

It was pretty good. Painted a set of bookcases with the wife. That was a lot more work than I wanted to put into it lol. The top pic is probably 6 or 7 years ago from a listing picture before we bought it. The only one I had that showed both cases.
How about your weekend? What’s new with the T4R?

Ah those turned out nicely dude. It livens things up. At least it's done now though. My weekend was good, did some Easter stuff with my littles. They had a blast so that made me happy. Not much with the 4Runner. I've finally gotten all caught up on the most pressing matters so it's nice to be able to just relax and drive the thing. Brake fluid flush is in line for this week but other than that, I'm all set for the time being.

Great to hear and thanks! Wife was hoping it would.
I’ve got nothing planned for my truck anytime soon. I need to do some stuff to my wife’s rogue but I’m a little lazy. It’s a 2015 and really the only thing I’ve done is having the dealer do oil changes and I replaced the brake fluid about a year ago. It needs a bunch of fluids changed… but it only has like 50k miles on it and not driven hard.
