Thank you for all of you info @Carmaker1

I am excited to see the new Tacoma, but more so info on the new Land Cruiser. Very curious to see if it will be more off road focused to compete with the Wrangler and Bronco.

Lighten up Francis, it's the internet. Besides, you obviously still have plenty of worshipers on here.

I think you may be 10 years behind the curve on this topic. It doesn't need RPM so much as load, the turbo size and electronic controls combine for a lag free experience.

I'm weirdly excited about the new Taco debut after that teaser. Its 4/3 and I need something to distract me for the rest of the workday.

    Where's that new Taco!!????

The guy sure is passionate about predicting new vehicles. So much emotion and so many words. Weird. It’s just a truck.

So, which one of you knuckleheads are going to be the first in line to order, build, or whatever you call it, the new 4th Gen? Someone has to be the first to test unchartered waters.

It'll be a day one pre-order depending on the tow hook situation.

If it looks promising, I'll do it. I'm deciding on a 23 or 24 today.

Is there something about the tow hooks? I've not seen anything about them..

I'm not going to lie - I've been eyeballing the new Colorados. I like what they did with them so far. But what the reveal shows will either have me in a new Tacoma(23 or 24) or Colorado

Well it's going to be expensive, so somebody in sales will probably be the 1st to get their hands on one. Influencers will be ready to get their hands on them, imagine having the 1st 4G YT chanel. Aftermarket folks will want to get ahead of the game with armor suspension and other things, and it would be better for the community for them to get the trucks before the tubers. Let the high intrest loans fly.

I think it will be cool to see this new truck and I wish everyone the best of luck when they get their's when ever that may be. I'm glad I don't have a boner for one.

I think the biggest thing I'm most curious about is it supposedly not having leaf springs. I'm more excited to just see what it looks like already.

It's just a joke since there was a big scandal about the Tundra not having any.

Sort of what I was thinking. Would be silly to not have them, but then again the 3rd Gen has the lovely transmission that loves to go hunting

Given Toyota doesn't allow any kind of an order, I predict there will be zero knuckleheads. :p That said, I expect a very high percentage of folks here will be using the configuration tool from day one.

My guess is that the big-name aftermarket suppliers already got everything they need directly from Toyota to have products launch-ready by the time these hit dealer lots. I could be wrong bu I think that's how it works.

It will be cool to finally see it, I have a fairly good idea of what that will be. Probably won't see it right away I'd like to see the base model.

I think it will be double cab only like GM, might get a long bed option. I don't think any MS new cab design will get anything but a double cab.

Not to sound like someone out of the 1920s great depression I don't get excited about new vehicle releases like I once did. With the way manufacturers set prices, and dealers demand higher prices above that. Maybe I'm just getting old and don't give a damn about new releases.
