Got some sort of small squeak/creak coming from my dash near the head unit area. Seems to be worse when it is colder outside. Anybody else have a similar issue and if so, what was the fix?

Well documented here. Use some keywords when searching this forum. You'll find those threads with info and fixes people posted.

Well I just had something similar closer to the glove box area. I followed the steps that are detailed elsewhere on the site for removing the glove box. The only thing I found that could be the problem (besides the well know passenger A pillar rattle) is the screw securing the glove box on the far right (it’s behind the removable plastic pieces on the far end of the dash passenger side. When removing that screw I noticed the plastic squeaks against the shiny metal. I inserted a small rubber washer on the screw between the plastic of the dash and the metal that is secures too. My squeak is now gone. Hope this helps.

Top right of dash, the speaker cover rubs on the pillar cover. ‘Normal for tacomas’ and well documented on this site. Mine does it too.

Yep, got all kinds of squeaks and rattles. It's worse when it's cold as you mention. I fixed some by removing the door panels and installing tape and sound deadening material.

Others I have not gotten rid of, yet. I can press on the dash and make them stop momentarily but, they return. Frustrating and looking forward to warmer weather.
