1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I have a spice orange Japanese GameCube with a mod chip on it and I play everything off an SD card. Sort of like original hardware but less expensive.

I pull it out a few times a year when there’s a gathering to play Mario Party or something. This past weekend it was a bunch of old coworkers from my college internship.

 

I started playing all my GC stuff on PC because Dolphin emulator works so well. But I drag out the purple cube sometimes still

 

Hammered helps hide anything uneven hence why I asked your guys' recommendations for a nice easy spray



But I pretty much only use Rustoleum anyway

 

How many here had an Amiga toaster?

 

That looks an awful lot like the very first "family" computer we had in the early 90s, but I couldn't say for sure. Will have to see if my dad remembers.

 

My family didn't have toaster money. We had used IBMs haha

 

next family computer I remember us having was one of those colorful iMac G3s....that poor thing saw so much porn between 3 teenagers living in the house at one point. Good thing it was a Mac I guess lol

 

I have a 1st gen iMac G3 and a 2nd gen iMac G3 and both came with porn on them haha

 

I remember my mom constantly harping on my dad to install parental features on it but there were always workarounds, as I recall it was mostly all based on search words so you just had to get creative with it.

Ah yeah so back then it would have gone from "big boobs" to "large breasts" and been fine

I looked into the modchips and decided to pass. Can emulate everything on Dolphin like @Speedytech7 said so I opted to leave this console unadulterated

 

and boomers wonder why we have so many crazy terms and phrases now for sex, positions, kinks, etc

Remember when YouTube put huge restrictions on content and educational nudity went to pornhub for monetization.... pepperidge farm remembers. Imagine being some low level GE Medical employee and having to post the training content for a mammogram machine to PornHub

 

Our content filter is very heavy handed, Cisco don't play around

 

Back in the day it was still software based at my Jr high haha

wtf, at least they took the time to cover the displays and gauges I guess, but really why even bother at that point
