Putting the exhaust in exhaustion. That was genuinely terrible. Luckily no studs broke taking the manifolds off. Rerouted the exhaust from the manifold back and was somehow able to keep the factory o2 bungs. Used some prebent tubes from Summit and cut as needed. Need to extend the o2 wires and it’ll be 100%

It was originally something I was going to farm out, but it looked so hard to explain to someone else where it needed to go and why I figured I’d just do it haha

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to roll this bitch down the mountain since I’ve started…I’ve learned a shitload, but I had no idea what all I was in for when I started.

Haha Hell I think four linking with full hydro is probably easier aside from the lower crossmember. Probably less to clearance with no panhard and all that steering shit. It all sucks though and it’s all the other shit that makes it a nightmare. I’m glad I’m doing it though. I think I’ll appreciate it more and be more forgiving of its shortcomings

I literally spent 30 minutes getting one o2 sensor disconnected from its harness behind the engine. That’s the kinda shit that’ll drive me nuts :rofl:but yeah I feel like I’m on the never ending list of little projects now.

Forgot to post this a while back. Alignment bushing for the knuckles. Figured oh this is an area I can save a few bucks, not much to it.

Needless to say this part ended up being the absolute biggest piece of shit

Started in on the front driveshaft. WOD kit. Angled the pinion up a bit, but will need to trim the stock tcase flange a bit to get all the droop and no bind.

Driveshafts tacked up and clearanced. Lowered the front shocks 1.5” to get all the droop possible. Limit straps added up front. Bumps and straps on the rear. The list is getting a bit smaller!

Chocco first since it’s closer haha I enjoyed hawk pride too much to not have the initial kinks worked out.

All my steering lines and things are mounted. Need to make a couple brackets to keep the lines from moving into things. The field serviceable fittings were easy to assemble. Hopefully I did a good job they won’t leak haha

Fuel cell back in. Ditching the charcoal canister this time and hopefully got a good seal. Using another JK fuel cell ring from Motobilt and the stock taco sender.

The guys that I rode with Saturday were talking about how well your truck did on IFS.

It did pretty well. A rear sway to make the front flex out would have been much better. That plus 40’s would have been pretty sweet. I’m past the point of no return for IFS though I think lol!

They all said they want to see how well it will do with the solid axles.
When I added the rear sway bar it changes the way it performs a lot. Without it the body roll was unpredictable, now I know exactly what it is going to do, calmed my nerves a lot.

I’m anxious to see how it does, too. Not much left to do now. Hopefully crown won’t take much longer on the brake lines. Just got all my stuff to relocate the battery to the rear.
