Went to the range today with my new Glock 19 9mm and a Ruger 357 mag. This is one of my targets shot at 5, 10, and 15 yards. Not bad for an old fart. I enjoy going to the range but with the current cost of ammo it’s getting expensive. Went through around 200+ 9mm, 200 38’s and 50 357 mags. Going back again Wednesday.

That would qualify you for our class 1 carry permit. We are a constitutional carry state. But the class 1 is good for 35 states and some venues that disallow firearms in state. I haven't tried because because I don't shoot as constantly with my off hand due to an injury to my wrist. I could drop to a 22 instead of a 9. 20 shots 5 off hand and 5 dominant unsupported 7 yrds 5 kneeling 5 standing supported 14 yrds with reloading timed. Must hit a standard piece of paper 90%.

Nice grouping Ken. I haven't been to the range recently but need to go. 115 gr 9 mm fmj is real cheap for range use but .357 is expensive. Bought a Stoeger ST9C compact for shits and giggles. That's why I need to get to the range. Reviews were good and it is a cheap semi auto. I'll see how it shoots.
    Have fun on Wednesday:thumbsup:.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Got a chuckle out of the HEBGETR plate. I have a soft spot for '53-'56 F-100s, my first vehicle - flathead 8. There will always be a part of me that regrets selling it. It was in pretty good shape too, only serious rust was above the headlights (they all rusted like that up here).

A little something every chance we get.
That vintage F-100 in flat black didn't make me happy at all taking pics. I just told myself it was a work in progress, and mine looked no better when I had it! (Heart strings making noise.....)

Enjoy that compact. My brother got a Glock compact, not sure of model but I like Springfield XDm, 9 I want to go to our indoor range the have different ones for rent. Gives a chance to try and buy. I've tried a couple compacts but to hard on my wrists. I have a compensator on mine to reduce the recoil. Some expensive rounds but I like liberty ultra lights, due to the weight of the round for a +p it doesn't have much recoil. The 9's travel @ 2000 fts. Firestorm has some nice incendiary 9mm rounds, fun to put on steel plates.

...Besides just passing along a funny, I just have this need to comment on human nature... The picture is of an actress playing a part in a movie, dunno her name, but it hits the funnybone.
We understand the horrible way she feels and we laugh at her.
Anybody that doesn't laugh has three flavors of dinner stains on the Nehru jacket he wears constantly. It's the way we are. We laugh and I think that's sad.
Oh shit. I must have dragged my sleeve in the gravy.

Susan, and you have a pain free day today. Glad to read you are doing better.

Kurt: I do enjoy the pics and wish the show our local club puts on twice a year was as large.

Good morning. Yesterday was productive. The garage freezer is now defrosted, took an hour longer that I thought it would be. Too much frost and ice. I finally started repainting the outside cast aluminum furniture. The chair was taken apart and wiped down with acetone. The wipe down cloth was pretty dirty when I finished. I hope to have both coats of spray paint put on today while I take apart the bench and wipe it down. Going to be another nice day here in Maryland. Already 50 degrees at 7am.

    Morning all:

Finished up the air in tires project yesterday, found out that one bicycle tire has a major leak and won't hold air and that that the zero turn wouldn't start. :annoyed: Saw that there was a lot of corrosion on the positive terminal, cleaned that up and then put it on the charger, and will put it back in today.
Send in owed tax (done), send in est. Fed and state by Apr 15, pay spring real estate taxes, make app. to inspect Chevy truck and get it inspected, order oil, transfer funds from broker to bank account :(, are right now on my "MUST DO" list, then I'll get back to work on the got's to do list! :annoyed:

    Nice morning today.
Lawn tractor oil change and battery install, drain fuel out of snowblower and put it away for the season.
Think I'll fire up the generator while I'm at it.
